Supervision is provided by a full-time program director, Jacquelyn Sherman-Rustin and assistant director, Theresa Enriquez Battle. Additional counselor supervision is provided for major program events.

Jacquelyn Sherman-RustinExecutive Director

Jacquelyn grew up in San Diego and currently resides in the Mt. Helix area of La Mesa where she lives with her husband Carl. She has raised three daughters, is passionate about her grandchildren, her cocker spaniel Max, and traveling the world in her spare time. Jacquelyn often says the work she does with the Fellows is the only meaningful, fulfilling work she has done in her entire professional career.

Jacquelyn says she is thrilled to be working with future leaders of our nation. She feels fortunate to be working for an organization that works tirelessly to bring about positive lasting change in her city and throughout the world.


Theresa Enriquez BattleAssistant Director

A native of San Diego, Theresa has been the assistant director for the Aaron Price Fellows Program for over 12 years. She is the mother of two daughters who keep her very busy!

Theresa at this point in her career can’t imagine herself doing anything else. The Fellows continue to inspire, motivate and give her hope for a better world. Her favorite quote from Mahatma Ghandi is “Be the change you want to see in the world.” She feels the Fellows are just that!

Every year Theresa looks forward to a new class of Fellows entering each year which keeps the program fresh and full of inspiration.
